1) Social Media is NOT as easy as it looks. Social media may seem like an easy task for someone but it can be quite difficult. Being able to keep up with every account takes time and hard work, and finding interesting topics to keep your readers interested takes a creative mind. Having every type of social media is the right way to create a successful business, but it is also the harder path to take. 2) Social Media = A Successful Company Even though it is the harder path, having every type of social media is the right path. Social media is extremely vital in order for companies to grow, especially small companies. Some people may not have a Twitter, but do have a Facebook page, so if you are not on Facebook, they won't be able to find you. Going Bald For Cancer

People are taking a stand to support childhood cancer. The people of Illinois decided that in order to raise money for this cause, they would shave their hair off. This amazing act raised thousands of dollars towards childhood cancer. Some of the people who shaved their hair also decided to donate it. When people stand together they can really make a difference! I know I would consider doing this if my sister was ever rediagnosed or anyone close to me, would you? Let me know on my twitter page! Waltham police, fire raise $25,000 to assist children with cancer

Local Waltham Firefighters and Police officers decided to take a stand against cancer and hold a hockey tournament against one and other. A few members of the fire department and police departments had children who are suffering through pediatric cancer which is surly what brought on this act of kindness. Leia's Kids!

At only 18, Leia Hunt is a two time cancer survivor! She's going to school and planning for the future, but in her spare time she started a non profit giving hope and support to children and families that are battling cancer! Her organization, Leias Kids, provides financial aid for families that are going through childhood cancer. It is amazing what these kids can do at such a young age! Leia has survived cancer more times than anyone could hope, and she is leaving her footprint in the world. Making a change is something we are all capable of, even in just a tiny donation! Crayons Helping Kids Battle Cancer!

One person can make a big change. Emily Christensen proved this after her friend TJ passed away just before his fourth birthday from cancer. At only 6 years old Emily was making changes in big ways. She started an organization called "Crayons for Cancer." This Organization melts down old crayons and turns them into shapes which they sell to raise money for families that are battling cancer! I am always amazed by how just one person (especially Emily at only 6 years old) can make such a big change and help so many people! Truly inspiring! Enjoy this Article About a Boy Who Gets His Wish!

When I read this article I was shocked. I always figured most kids with cancer would use their wishes for a trip to Disney or to see their favorite band, but 12 year old Peter had another idea. Peter was watching TV and saw the pope kissing children, Peter decided that's what he wanted for possibly his last wish.  While Make-A-Wish could not make that happen, the odds were in Peters favor. I can strongly relate to this article considering Peter was diagnosed with Leukemia at a young age and so was my sister! Both Peter and my sister beat cancer and got their wishes! Camp Rising Sun is free so parents and children don't have to worry about the pricey costs of summer camps. This campaign will revolve around raising money for Camp Rising Sun to send more kids who have suffered through cancer to a fun environment.
